单集文稿 ...

  • It's been a huge week for the group chat.

  • Not one of yours, certainly not one of mine.

  • I'm talking about the Houthi PC small group chat, of course.

  • But you've never talked to him before.

  • So how's the number on your phone?

  • I mean, I'm not an expert in any of this, but it's just curious.

  • How's the number on your phone?

  • Well, if you have somebody else's contact and then it,

  • and then somehow, oh, someone sends you that, it gets sucked in.

  • Nobody's texting war plans.

  • As a matter of fact, they even changed the title II attack plans.

  • Now it turns out Judge Boasberg has actually been assigned to another high profile case,

  • this one surrounding the fallout from the signal messages in the Atlantic article,

  • which we've been talking about all day.

  • Right.

  • Never before has the group chat been subject to this kind of scrutiny.

  • And it's been a great reminder that we have lost our way on Today Explained.

  • We're gonna talk about texting and how we kind of forgot how to do it right.

  • Or maybe we never knew how to do it right in the first place.

  • Hey there.
