So let's start today's episode with the verb forge to forge.
We spell this
f-o-r-g-e forge forge.
To forge is to make an illegal copy of something in order to cheat
people.
So for example we commonly talk about forging someone's signature.
So you might
have done this when you were younger maybe you studied your parents signature so that you could
sign those school forms possibly just for ease because it's easier just to sign it yourself
and tell your mum and dad about it rather than wait for them to have a spare moment to read
the letter and sign it or it might have been malicious.
Maybe you got into trouble and received a
detention and you are given a detention form to take home to inform your parents and your parents
