here's the Hamas says it's reviewing a U.S. proposal to restore the Gaza ceasefire as Israel intensified a military onslaught to press the Palestinian militant group to free remaining Israeli hostages.
US Special envoy Steve Witkoff's bridge plan presented last week,
aims to extend the ceasefire into April beyond the holidays of Ramadan and Passover to allow time for negotiations on a permanent cessation of hostilities.
The top diplomats from Japan,
China and South Korea met in Tokyo today seeking common ground on East Asian security and economic issues amid escalating global uncertainty.
The first gathering of the country's foreign ministers since 2023 comes
as US President Donald Trump upends decades old alliances,
potentially opening the door for China to forge closer ties to countries traditionally aligned with Washington.
