It's almost Friday.
Let's talk about something that hits close to home for so many of us.
Burnout.
A recent study from May 2024 showed that 44% of U.S. employees reported feeling burnt out at work,
45% feel emotionally drained, and 51% feel completely worn out by the end of the workday.
But here's where it gets even more interesting.
The same study showed that only 22% feel anxious,
50% often experience a sense of belonging, and 40% feel a sense of fulfillment.
I recently had a conversation with a close friend where I was explaining how,
despite my mindfulness practice, I too was feeling the weight of burnout.
