Hey, it's Scott from Headspace.
You might not know my voice, but if you use Headspace, you definitely know my sounds.
I transport you to the local late-night laundromat or take you aboard a boat full of cats.
As the unofficial captain of the Headspace Dream Team, I want to invite you to enter our contest.
We're on the lookout for a voice to help our listeners fall asleep easy by guiding them on an all-new sleepcast.

Welcome back to another episode of Radio Headspace.
I'm your host, Dora Kamau.
All right, so the other day I was listening to the Huberman Lab podcast,
which, if you don't know, I am obsessed.
This particular episode covered how meditation works,
and the host mentioned a study titled A Wandering Mind is an Unhappy Mind.
In this study, two psychologists at Harvard found that a wandering mind comes at an emotional cost.
In other words, thinking about things that are not present,
that are not happening in the moment, can decrease our sense of happiness.
After drawing inspiration from that podcast episode and study,
I wanted to explore the different ways that we can work with our minds.
And I know that sounds pretty broad, but it's also the essence of meditation.
