So I was chatting with my little cousin the other day,
and she mentioned something that really stuck with me.
She said, I hate my job, but I can't leave.
And I could hear the exhaustion in her voice,
the kind of burnout that comes from being stuck in a job that drains you,
but feeling like you have no way out.
And it got me thinking, this is a conversation that I've had with so many people.
And they can't leave for many valid reasons, whether it's financial obligations,
the pressures that come from having their dream job, or even contractual reasons too.
So as we wrap up our workplace series today, I want to dive into that very question.
What to do when you really dislike your job but can't leave?
And I know how challenging it can be when you're in a job that drains you,
yet leaving doesn't feel like an option.
Life brings all sorts of responsibilities,
and sometimes we have to find a way to navigate tough situations with as much grace as possible.
