I hope you're all doing awesome today and that you're ready to learn a couple new phrasal verbs.
In today's phrasal verb episode,
we're going to look at the phrasal verbs become of and bend over backwards.
That second one sounds kind of interesting for a lot of you, I'm sure.
So let's start with become of.
So become of means to happen to or to be the fate of someone or something.
Let me explain that a little further.
So when something becomes of someone, it's like saying what happens to them?
Or what happens to them eventually.
For example, could say, I completely forgot about John.
I wonder what became of him.
