I'm Alex Ritson and on the Global News Podcast,
we're covering the row over international justice
as the International Criminal Court urges the world to stand up for fundamental human rights.
That's in response to new sanctions from Donald Trump against its officials.
The underlying issue, of course, the ICC's arrest warrants for the leaders of Israel.
We bring you the top stories from BBC News twice a day on weekdays and daily at weekends.

BBC Sounds Music Radio Podcasts hello.
Now, I'm sure it's not escaped your notice that all week we've been marking,
in fact celebrating the fifth anniversary of newscast launching as a daily podcast.
And you might have noticed
that we've done a bit of a Taylor themed eras tour style celebration where we've gone through all the different chapters
and evolutions that we've gone through on this podcast,
whether it was election cast coronavirus newscast, the classic daily newscast you're listening to now.
But our final trip down memory lane is going to take us to where it all began.
The original Brexitcast, where me, Chris, Laura and Katja got together on a daily,
weekly, sometimes hourly basis to talk about what was going on as the UK left the eu.
So for our final celebration of five years of newscast,
we're gonna head to the BBC Radio theater where we recorded a special look back at Brexitcast.
