The Israeli army has received fresh orders from its minister of Defence make preparations to enable Palestinians
in Gaza to leave the enclave voluntarily.
Yisra'el Katz said that Gaza's residents should be allowed the freedom to exit and emigrate,
as is the practice anywhere around the world.
The minister was speaking after Donald Trump's extraordinary intervention a couple of days ago,
that the entire 2 million plus population of Gaza should be relocated
while the territory be turned by the United States into what he called the Riviera of the Middle East.
Mr.
Trump has been expanding on his vision on social media.
