you might find yourself wondering, does that mean you're at risk too?
It's a common concern for many of us.
What I've learned is there's no single gene responsible for most diseases.
There are a lot of different genetic variants at play,
along with your personal habits and environment that determine the risk of developing a disease.
Well now,
scientists are developing a new tool that can help us understand whether our genes might predispose us to certain diseases or elevate our risk.
It's called a Polygenic Risk Score, or PRS.
