Discussion keeps the world turning.
This is Round Table.
Hello, everybody.
Welcome to a special Spring festival edition of Roundtable.
I'm He Yang, coming to you from Beijing.
Today we're celebrating the spirit and significance of the Chinese New Year.
For the Chinese people, this holiday is about family,
honoring traditions and ushering in a new year full of hope and prosperity.
We're so excited to have two wonderful guests joining us via video link from Africa.
And here they are, Bernard Mamani, editorial director with Capital FM in Kenya,
and Jean Paul Lam, president of New Chinatown foundation in Mauritius.
Welcome, gentlemen.
Hi, Haiyang, and thank you for having me on this show this morning.
Hi, Haiyang.
Hi Bieno.
And hi everyone.
Great, it's lovely to have you both on the show.
As China and Africa continue to build stronger ties, especially in trade,
culture and community, our guests will share how this celebration is bringing people together across continents.
Let's dive right in to kick things off.
