  • This is the Guardian.

  • Today, the quiet revolution that's underway in fighting cancer.

  • Wellmann Leute Fragt was.

  • In haben.

  • Designer Schuler.

  • Marketing Information.

  • I just wanted to have a good time, Loved socialising with my friends, holidays, no sad days.

  • And then I had a lot of sad days.

  • Abby Halls was in her 20s when it started.

  • I just began feeling really tired, lethargic and just generally feeling not myself.

  • I just started a new job in London.

  • So yeah, my career was sort of starting off, but it was obviously there was a shadow looming over me with this just not feeling very well.

  • So I was back and forth to the gp.

  • After the first few tests, her doctor sent her for a colposcopy, an examination of the cervix.

  • Oh, I went for the colposcopy on my own because I just thought nothing of it really.

  • Just like a standard checkup.

  • And then when I got the letter back asking me to come back and maybe bring someone with me, I thought, oh, that sounds a bit serious.

  • I took my mum with me.

  • I think she kind of knew something was more sinister and that is how.

  • Abby found out she had cervical cancer.
