44 分钟Welcome everybody.
I am so excited for this episode.
Today we are talking about how to fall asleep with OCD and anxiety.
We have the amazing Sue Chuddy here because she is going to spread her wisdom.
I am so thrilled to have you because this is such an important topic.
Thank you for being here, Sue.
Yes, I'm so glad to be here.
Thank you so much for having me.
It's often in sessions,
some of the biggest conversations I have with clients because we need sleep to function well.
And sometimes anxiety can prevent us from that one thing.
So can you write off the bat,
explain the relationship between OCD and specific and some sleep disturbances that people have?
Absolutely.
Yeah, depending on what source you're looking at,
it's probably somewhere between 40% to 70% of people with OCD are experiencing some kind of sleep disturbance.
So this is huge.
And there's a lot of reasons why that's happening.
People go to sleep, and OCD, they try to go to sleep, they're bad, and OCD is like, yes.
This is the perfect time to process everything.
