  • Today, I want to talk about something that feels especially important as we kick off this new year,

  • making space for yourself.

  • With everything that's been going on in the world,

  • I think finding those moments of quiet is more crucial than ever.

  • Over the break, I was catching up with an old friend,

  • and we started talking about how hard it could be to carve out time for ourselves.

  • Real, uninterrupted time.

  • We joked about how guilty we often felt taking even just a few minutes to just be.

  • It's like there's this constant pressure to always be doing something,

  • being productive, checking off the to-do list, responding to emails.

  • But then we asked ourselves,

  • what would happen if we treated that time for ourselves as a non-negotiable,
