Hello, everyone. This is After Hours.
I'm Felix.
I'm Mihir.
And I'm Lane Higgins, a sports reporter from the Wall Street Journal.
Welcome, Lane.
We're so happy to have you.
Thank you so much for having me.
Yeah, it's a special week because sports is a topic across many of the TED podcasts,
and we're super excited that you join us.
It's going to be great.
Happy to be here.
Lane.
I have to ask, what's advantage of being a sports reporter?
We don't get free tickets.
And that's the biggest misconception.
I was an athlete in college and my coach always asked me,
so when are you going to get me Giants tickets?
I was like, I'm so sorry, but that's not something I can ever do.
Obviously, in the course of our work, we're on the field,
we get to mill around and like that perspective of sports is really cool.
