Hi, I'm David Booth.
For more than 50 years, I've worked in financial markets.
I co-founded Dimensional Fund Advisors in my apartment
and helped grow it into a global investment firm managing a trillion dollars in assets.
Along the way, I learned one simple truth.
Investing isn't about predicting the future.
It's about managing uncertainty.
In my new book, Stay Calm, I explain how trusting markets, not gurus, gives investors a powerful advantage.
Discover how science-based investing can help you live better and feel better along the way at staycalminvesting.com.

Hey, Hard Fork listeners, this is Ezra Klein.
The Hard Fork team is working on something new for this feed.
But in the meantime, they thought you'd enjoy this conversation I had with Jensen Huang, the founder and CEO of NVIDIA.
So here it is.
Over the course of these last few weeks where the whole world has been talking about artificial intelligence, the voices
people have been hearing most loudly are from the Frontier Labs, both their CEOs and leaders and their staffers.
These are the labs making the very advanced AI models like Claude and ChatGPT and Gemini and others.
But they're not the only perspective on AI.
Probably the single most influential person in artificial intelligence is Jensen Huang, the CEO of NVIDIA.
NVIDIA is now the largest company in the world, $5.4 trillion in market cap.
