Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi says China stands ready to work with Latin American
and Caribbean nations, including Brazil, to deepen and expand cooperation.
He made remarks at a foreign ministerial-level strategic dialogue with his Brazilian counterpart,
Mauro Vieira, here in Beijing.
He said bilateral ties have become increasingly global, strategic, and far-reaching in influence.
Wang Yi called on China and Brazil to counter various external challenges
and build greater synergy for each other's modernization drives and the unity and self-improvement of the Global South.
Mauro Vieira, for his part, said that Brazil looks forward to consolidating strategic mutual trust,
deepening practical cooperation, and achieving common prosperity.
