Visiting Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has expressed hope that South Korea will pursue
a friendly policy toward China and a work to strengthen bilateral ties.
Wang made the remark Thursday during a meeting with South Korean President Li Jianmion.
He said the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations next year would provide
an opportunity to further advance the China-South Korea strategic cooperative partnership.
Cooperation is conductive to the interests of the two countries, as well as regional peace and stability.
