Foreign authorities repeatedly warned their German counterparts about the man who's believed to have rammed a car into a Christmas market on Friday.
Riyadh had told Germany that the suspected attacker, who's being referred to as Taleb A, a Saudi dissident who describes himself as an ex Muslim, had boasted on social media that something big will happen in Germany.
Five people were killed in the attack in Magdeburg on Friday evening as well as more than 200 being inj well, I'm joined now from Zurich by Monocle Security correspondent Karana Gurgic.
