I'm Rory Stewart, and I want to talk about ignorance.
I will die without having read everything.
That was written in classical Latin, because.
Ignorance isn't simply the opposite of knowledge.
It's part of what it means to be human.
Just about every game I can think of involves ignorance.
There's no adventure without ignorance.
There's no narrative.
The long history of ignorance, from Confucius to QAnon.
With me, Rory Stewart.

I remember distinctly as a child hearing my father rehearse for many things, but I most remember him singing and rehearsing the song some enchanted evening in our living room.
We grew up in Malibu, California.
We had a house that was just opposite Zuma beach, kind of up on the bluff there.
And so you had this beautiful Southern California daylight coming in through these windows.
And because he had such a deep, powerful voice, it would resonate through the house.
Sometimes I'd be out in the driveway playing as a kid, riding a bike or skateboard, and just hearing his voice pouring out all the way outside.
It was quite an extraordinary thing to hear.
Enchanted evening you may see a stranger you may see a stranger ranger across a crowd at a room.
My name is Eric Tatzi, and I am the son of opera star recording artist Giorgio Tatzi, who recorded the South Pacific film soundtrack version of some enchanted evening.
