First on today's show, have you ever been caught in the whirlwind of trying to snag tickets for your favorite artists concert tour, only to find out that the tickets have been sold out instantly?
The concert and performance market in China is booming.
Traveling to a city for a performance is the new must do in cultural tourism.
According to the China association of Performing Arts, in the first half of 2024 alone, there were over 251,000 commercial performances nationwide worldwide, and a 30% increase from last year.
Well, I thought the market was super hot last year already, and now it's just adding oil to that fire.
Musical fire?
