Hello there, it's Eve here with you.
Welcome to Radio Headspace and to Wednesday.
I hope your week is going well so far.
I'm really grateful to be here with you.
A few weeks ago, I hosted a community meditation event at our office in Santa Monica here in LA.
It was such a wonderful experience to be in person, in community with folks.
So I was joking with my wonderful colleague, Cal, who helped organize it,
that I wanted to focus the evening on cultivating resilience in an uncertain world
because the world.
Yeah, there is a lot going on right now.
So if you're feeling stressed, if you're feeling anxious, it's okay.
You're human.
The world feels pretty stressful and uncertain right now.
So how do we cultivate a balance of mind amongst the chaos?
I've been reading one of Pema Chodron's books, Living Beautifully with Uncertainty and Change,
and I want to share a very short quote from it.
Pema says, As human beings,
we share a tendency to scramble for certainty whenever we realize that everything around us is in flux.
But in truth, the very nature of our existence is forever in flux.
Everything keeps changing, whether we're aware of it or not.
