Hello, it's Eve here with you.
Welcome to Radio Headspace and to Tuesday.
Thanks for joining me.
Even though I can't see you,
it's so lovely to know there is a community of folks all over the world tuning in.
So yesterday,
I talked a little bit about stepping outside our comfort zones and the uncomfortable feelings that often come with it.
And today, I want to expand on it because I think we've all been there.
Whether it's starting something new or pushing ourselves in a different direction,
that first step can often feel pretty daunting.
But what if we could reframe those uncomfortable feelings and use them in a positive way?
I want to start by talking about our inner critic.
You know, that voice that tells us we're not good enough or that we'll never succeed.
You know the one.
That inner critic can be so loud, especially when we're trying something new.
But here's the thing.
Your inner critic doesn't define you.
It's just a voice.
It can often sound like quite a believable voice because we may have lived with it for a long time.
But it's not the truth.
