Hello, it's Eve here, and welcome to Radio Headspace and to Friday.
The last few weekends for me have been particularly busy.
I've been finishing up a training course and getting back into the swing of things after some travel.
The amount of times I've said as Monday rolled around.
I wish I had more time just for being with the weekend.
So today is all about what we can do to honor this,
as I don't want you to have that same feeling this coming Monday.
You might be listening to this at the start of Friday, or perhaps you're already in the weekend.
So I ask you the following question.
What can you do this weekend that really supports being in the weekend?
Now, this doesn't necessarily just mean sleeping or vegging out watching TV,
although both of those things are completely okay.
But I really encourage you to notice when you find yourself caught up in the week ahead.
Notice where your mind tends to go.
And this is not about judging yourself or criticizing yourself.
But it's interesting watching the mind in this way.
how it has this tendency to want to jump ahead.
Equally, are you filling the weekend up with a long list of tasks,
which, if you're anything like me,
might make you feel good in the short term, but then leaves you feeling a little resentful later on.
