First up, Chinese President Xi Jinping has called for advancing the modernization of agriculture in rural areas.
He made remarks during an inspection tour to the city of Dezhou in the eastern Chinese province of Shandong.
Xi Jinping emphasized
that ensuring a stable supply of grain and other major agricultural products remains a top priority.
He called for stronger support for grain production, wider use of advanced farming technologies,
and continued improvements in terms of the agricultural infrastructure.
The Chinese leader have also stressed building a livable and prosperous rural communities,
urging the local officials to deliver tangible benefits to the people,
and help local farmers create better lives through hard work and innovation.
