Hey, AmeriCasters.
We hope you've been enjoying the AmeriCast Pop Up Podcast studio as we've travelled around the US covering the election before Donald Trump's inauguration in January 2025.
We'll be dropping new episodes of AmeriCast three times a week, usually Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
If you want to stay notified of when we've published an episode, please make sure you're subscribed to AmericaSt on BBC Sounds.
And if you'd like to, you can turn on Push Notific in your phone settings.
That way you'll never miss us.
Anyway, here's today's episode.
Enjoy.

Hello, it's Monday morning in Washington, D.C.
the start of the first full working week since Donald Trump was elected president, and he's putting together his team.
So far, he's appointed Tom Holman in charge of border security.
He's somebody who's going to get tough there.
And still, Stephen Miller, he is an immigration hawk and he's been made Deputy Chief of Staff.
Right, all of this to come, but first, we've got American Answers in which we covered a lot of things, including the rather touchy subject of whether we got it right or wrong when we were reporting from various parts of the United States in the run up to the election.
So, without further ado, welcome to America's on 5 Life.
