Balance is critically important in how we live in many ways.
But how different is the control and balance which keeps us humans upright from the equilibrium required to fine tune an engine or which enables a well tuned violin to capture our hearts?
With me in the forum studio is a man who's made a career out of balancing.
The acclaimed High War walker and circus artist, Jade Kindar-Martin,
who entered the Guinness World Record Books for his double Skywalk across the River Thames.
Also here is Andrew Hayes, professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering,
who will be helping us understand what balance means in engineering terms,
to stop machinery from breaking down.
