It's the biggest football match the world has yet seen.
The final of a tournament that's been full of controversy on the pitch,
generated major international rouse, and very nearly never happened at all.
It's 2-2, and there's just over 20 minutes to go.
More than 80,000 fans are watching in a stadium built in record time for the occasion.
The tournament's hosts grab the lead.
Their opponents, their much bigger neighbours and fiercest rivals,
have got 20 minutes to find an equaliser.
But then, with just a minute to go... A fourth goal for the hosts.
It's all over.
Minutes later, fans stream onto the pitch as the final whistle blows.
Others in the stands throw their hats into the air and wave their handkerchiefs.
Uruguay, a small South American nation of just two million people,
are the very first football world champions.
