Hello and welcome to Monocle On Culture.
I'm Robert Bound.
The sun has been beaming finally in London, and we're looking, possibly while wearing sunglasses, into what we should be keeping our eyes on in the cultural sphere over the next summer months and just skipping a little into autumn, too.
On our agenda today, a much anticipated album from One of the UK's most revered and beloved beloved producers, a new TV show set in the murky waters of Baltimore, and a new theater production boasting the Broadway debut of an actor fresh from his Oscar winning role.
So let's delve in.
And joining me on this week's program is a newbie, Amar Kalya, the global music critic at the Guardian.
And another new entry, Rhianna dillon, who is BBC 6 Music's film and TV critic.
And the returning hero that is theatre critic for the International New York Times, Matt Wolff, who's also a regular voice here on Monocle Radio.
Welcome the program.
Should I go around the desk and do introductions or should we?
You'll just look each other in the eyes and say, hi.
Hi.
Hi.
Hi.
Hi.
Hi.
Otherwise, that was going to be precious, precious time in our quick fire.
What's coming up this summer program.
Rhianna, we're going to start with you.
Lovely to have you on the program.
