  • Coming up on today's program, it is two weeks until in the United States, and we'll kick off the show with Anita Riota giving us an update on the week in Washington and beyond.

  • Thank you very much, Anita.

  • After that, we'll be focusing on the topic of immigration that has been a hallmark of Donald Trump's campaign for president this past decade.

  • We'll hear from the reporter H.J.

  • mai, who's been speaking to migrants in Philadelphia.

  • And then, you know, invasion's a military word.

  • It implies people are carrying weapons and, you know, making planning an attack and that sort of it's absolutely untrue.

  • The architect Eddie Jones has been designing border posts in Tempe, Arizona, will also have an extended conversation on immigration and Latin America policy.

  • All that right here on THE Briefing with me, Chris Chermack.

  • This is the briefing, and we will start our US Election special with a look at the week that was in Washington.

  • And joining me right here in the studio is Monocle Radio producer Anita Riota.
