In the last couple of hours, France has announced its to give 100 million euros in support to Lebanon.
At the start of an international conference this morning in Paris, the French President of Emmanuel Macron said that huge amounts of help are needed for the hundreds of thousands of people displaced by the war and for the communities hosting them.
That was Emmanuel Macron there talking about the lines which unite the links which unite Lebanon and France and this duty that France feels as if it has to embrace Lebanon when it's in crisis.
Well, this meeting is being hosted in France as Israel continues its bombardment of Beirut and the coastal city of Tyre, close to several UNESCO World Heritage sites.
And to bring us up to date on this all, I'm joined by Leila Milana Allen, Monaco's Middle east correspondent.
