Hello Happiness Lab listeners.
We are currently hard at work on Season 3, which will be airing sometime later this summer.
But while you're waiting, we wanted to share something special,
an episode of one of my favorite podcasts.
Hidden Brain is a weekly podcast hosted by Shankar Vendantam.
Much like the Happiness Lab,
Hidden Brain explores the science of human behavior and how we can understand our behavioral quirks in order to make better decisions.
The show shines a spotlight on ideas that help us to better understand ourselves and the world around us.
You'll get a podcast that's guided by empathy, kindness, and great storytelling.
And so today, I want to share an episode of Hidden Brain.
It's one that I'm quite partial to because the main guest on the episode is me.
But this time, I'm not talking about the science of happiness.
Instead, I joined Schunker to talk about some of my other research,
studies on the evolutionary origin of our economic biases,
Shankar and I explore the question of why we make such bad decisions when it comes to money.
And you'll get to hear about some experiments I did back in the day with monkeys.
We'll look at what monkeys' choices can tell us about human behavior.
It was such a fun conversation.
I wanted to share it with you.
