Chinese online shoppers are stepping up too, with a strong demand for high quality, innovative and tech savvy products.
Fifteen years on from its inception, it is more than just an online shopping blitz.
It's a tradition.
So what does double 11 mean to us now?
And what new consumer trends are emerging as we shop our way through this year's mega event?
So we have some figures coming in from this Double Eleven shopping festival which have turned from one day to a period and one platform to all of them, I suppose.
