Amateur biographers are stepping up to help seniors tell their stories, of course for a fee.
This trend is part of what's being called the silver economy.
And what are you expected to do in writing a memoir as such?
Well, I think it's very interesting because when you look at this, writing memoirs for the elderly, of course we know they're writing for seniors, but who are writing the stories.
And it turns out that there isn't really a very strict criteria in terms of who will be engaged with quote unquote business because many individuals from diverse backgrounds, including white collar workers, social media influencers and professionals in the elder care industry, have started to join this field.
