So we haven't done a career episode in a while.
We thought it would be fun to sit down and talk about something
that happens in every workplace but maybe isn't always discussed, which is workplace drama.
When we talk about workplace drama, we're not necessarily talking about huge, life-altering, career-ending events
that happen, but more so drama that happens maybe in the small moments.
Petty events that happen in passing that somehow ends up getting talked about.
So let's start this off.
Crystal, is there any petty workplace drama that you can think of?

There's some drama, I guess we could call it, but it's actually more positive maybe in a way.
Negative, but positive result.
Sometimes it's hard to get a promo.
I've actually bonded with people kind of complaining about, oh,
it's so much harder now than it used to be, I don't know, 10 years ago or whatever.
It's a bit negative because it can be harder to get a promo.
A lot of companies are kind of in more of a saving mode.
