  Okay, so really simply, investing is giving your cash, your money,

  to a company or a fund manager, finance manager,

  in the hope of getting better returns than you would if you put it in a savings account

  or if you just did nothing with it.

  So, what often people mean when they hear the word "investing" is investing in stocks and shares.

  So you are buying a little piece of a company in the hope that that company will grow,

  and your piece will be worth more than what you paid for it.

  And we're talking about this today because you're hearing women could be better at this than men?
