  • hi welcome back to eat your crust podcast i'm crystal and i'm jisoo so recently i turned 30 and we talked

  • about it on the pod but that also got me thinking a bit about birthday parties now that we're older.

  • I totally feel like my mindset approaching birthday parties has been different recently versus when we were younger.

  • So I thought it would be fun for us to chat a little bit about this topic.

  • Maybe we should start from the very beginning.

  • When we were just tiny little children, do you remember if you had any thoughts slash plans for birthdays?

  • Yes.

  • And funny enough, I remember some of my younger birthday parties from when I was like seven,

  • eight years old, better than like the birthdays that I used to do in high school.

  • Maybe because when we're younger, it's like the formative year.

  • So it sticks around a little longer.

  • But when I was seven years old, I remember my parents booked like a bounce

  • house and then threw me like a little birthday party in the backyard.

  • It was so fun and my parents rented some children's handbooks for all my friends to like dress up in and stuff.

  • There was also a mini pool in the backyard.

  • It was just like a three part birthday party.

  • Oh my god.

  • That sounds so cute.

  • Yeah, that was so fun.
