The israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has dismissed all calls for a ceasefire in Lebanon as airstrikes resumed on Beirut overnight.
The latest israeli attack on South Beirut, the militant group Hezbollah's main stronghold, was the first in several days.
Today, warplanes pounded the city of Nabatiyeh in south Lebanon.
The lebanese health ministry said six people were killed there in strikes on municipal buildings, with the local mayor dead.
