You're listening to love and radio.
I'm Nick van der Kolk.
Today's episode 70 weeks, featuring Andre Taylor.
One day I was just walking by Pike Place Market, a very popular place in Seattle, Washington, where they got fresh seafood and all this stuff.
They throw the fish.
And I see this black man coming from, like, a block down, and he's talking to himself.
As he's coming closer, I'm hearing what he's saying.
He say, I'd rather go the way of a bear robbed of her webs than go the way of a fool.
He just kept saying that to himself.
I'd rather go the way of a bear robbed of her webs than go the way of a fool.
I'd rather go the way of a bear robbed of her webs than go the way of a fool.
Now, you know, I know that Bible real good because I don't devour it, and I know it's the scripture.
And so while he got to me, I said to him, all a fool needs is love, just like everybody else.
And, my God, why did I say that when I said that to that man?
That man began to prophesy to me.
He got to telling me things that only I knew.
I was sitting there, like, shocked and scared at the same time.
And I wanted to ask him, like, how the hell do you know this stuff about me?
And he just said, what I have was given to me to give to you.
He said, you know, God has made you a shepherd over his sheep.
