BBC sounds music radio podcasts.
Hello.

Cast, our predecessor, Brexit themes podcast, because Michel Barnier, the EU's chief negotiator then, has today been named by Emmanuel Macron as his candidate to be the new prime minister of France, the result of a lot of political wrangling in Paris.
Now, I've gone back through the archives to chart my relationship with Michel Barnier, and where best to look than his own book, his secret Brexit Diary, where I appear not once, not twice, but three times.
Shall we read them out?

When Adam Fleming of the BBC asks me, so, are you gonna have some champagne?

Classic Michelle.
I used to do that every time there was a big milestone.
You can have a glass of champagne.
He'd say no every time.
Right.
I'm not sure which date this is.
