So what are we going to look at today?
Well, in today's advanced lesson, we're going to look at idioms relating to happiness and sadness.
So we'll split it into two parts, one part about happiness, the other about sadness.
And as always, try to practice them, and if you don't understand them, come back to me.
We'll try to give you a few more examples.
Okay, so what have we got?
We've got five particular idioms relating to happiness, and we've got another five relating to sadness.
So look at happiness first of all, come back, give you some examples, and then do the same with sadness.
Okay, so let's get going.
Let's give the first one.
So, on cloud nine, well, the clouds are high in the sky, so when you're on cloud nine, you're really, really happy.
Oh, he's on cloud nine.
He got the highest marks he's ever got in his exams.
He's going to be able to go to university.
And what's more important, he's going to be able to do that engineering course that he hoped to do.
