Leading publishing houses in this country are staging a protest because they say the shopping platforms that they depend so much upon for their sales in recent years have laid very extreme demand, limiting the amount of prices that they are able to come up with on these platforms that would severely impact their income.
In fact, some of them are complaining they can't make ends meet.

60 publishing houses, including Tsinghua University Press, commercial press, people's literature publishing house and Zhonghua Book Company, jointly announced that they would boycott, caught in the promotional plan of e commerce platforms, including JD.com, for the upcoming June 18 shopping festival.
And these are very influential and leading players in the industry, publishing houses.
Very influential.
I would go shopping for the books and they are very trustworthy.
And to think that they are staging protests.
I think it goes to show how much pressure this industry is going through.

They are not real festivals because you don't really get a day off yet.
