Yes, it's about a couple of space cops, but it deliberately avoids
cosmic sweep and spectacle in favor of a story that's character-driven and literally down-to-earth.
Most of the action takes place in a tiny backwater in rural Nebraska.
Kyle Chandler plays a grizzled, impulsive old-timer who's training up his backup, played by Aaron Pierre.
But can this show thread the needle?
Can it find a way to work for both comics, nerds, and newcomer normals?
