So today we are continuing in our stories that are folk tales and fables
and myth and legends and fairy tales from all over the world that we've been reading.
Today we're pulling a story from a book that is called Thai Children's Favorite Stories.
And these are indeed stories from Thailand
that have been passed down from generations through different Thai families this book has nine different stories
and it was hard to just pick one because they're all so wonderful but Because we're giving
you stories from all over the world, we had to pick the best one that I liked.
And I can't pass up a story about a tiger, can I?
No, sir.
A tiger.
A tiger.
That's silly.
That is silly.
So today we're going to be reading you.
How the tiger got its stripes.
And this story has been told to us by Marion D. Toth.
The stories are illustrated by Pachatari Misukon.
And it is read today by Mommy and Phillip.
And for those of you out there who like tigers, this story is for you.
