Last night, the House narrowly passed a Republican budget blueprint.
This would allow the GOP to pass funding for immigration enforcement programs with no Democratic votes.
On this vote, the ayes are 215, the nays are 211, with one member voting present.
The concurrent resolution is adopted.
The GOP wants to reopen part of the Department of Homeland Security.
The agency has been partially shut down since Valentine's Day.
The House vote only launches a process to spend money on immigration programs.
It doesn't fund all of DHS programs, such as TSA.
Democrats have blocked immigration funding over the federal agent's killing of two protesters this year in Minneapolis.
The House has also voted to temporarily extend a government spying power.
This is part of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, known as FISA.
The matter is going to the Senate, but there is little time the key part of the law expires tonight.
