10 分钟There is a quote that I love and it always makes me laugh out loud.
And what it is, is it says that everyone should meditate for 20 minutes a day.
And then they go on to say, if you're too busy for 20 minutes, you should be meditating for an hour.
And that makes me laugh every single time.
And it's so true.
The more busy we are, the more we need mindfulness in our life.
The more we need to have activities that slow us down.
If I'm going to be completely honest, I don't completely agree with that quote.
I personally find that it is much more effective to implement mindfulness in the day to day in these quick little
bites when you're washing the dishes or you're driving to school or when you're sitting on the toilet.
There are always these 60 second slots where you can introduce mindfulness
and sort of like a little reboot that you do that allows you to.
Realign with this practice of being present and nonjudgmental and being open and loving towards yourself.
And so my hope for today and for this episode of Your Anxiety Toolkit
is to teach you how to practice mindfulness in 60 seconds anywhere.
No matter what you're doing,
this is a skill that you can take with you anywhere you are, disregarding how stressful it is.
And what's going on, whether you're alone or with people,
or if you're in a test, if you're presenting, it doesn't matter.
There is always an opportunity within 60 seconds to check in and be mindful.
