General Secretary Xi Jinping of the Communist Party of China Central Committee says the CPC has led the Chinese
people in writing the most magnificent epic in the millennia-long history of the Chinese nation.
He made the remarks in a speech at a gathering marking the CPC's 105th founding anniversary.
Xi Jinping said the people are the creator of history and the true heroes.
He also outlined the CPC's fine qualities,
including the readiness to follow the trend of the times and his focus on constant self-improvement.
The general secretary urged all CPC members to forge ahead to realize the party's missions in the new era.
At the gathering in Beijing, Xi Jinping conferred the July 1st medal on model CPC members.
