  • Hi.

  • Welcome back to eat your crust podcast.

  • I'm Jisoo.

  • I'm Crystal.

  • And I'm Kate.

  • Welcome back, Kate.

  • Last time, episode 216, meeting new people, which was a fun episode, and I feel, like, very relevant.

  • You know, it's hard to meet new people at our age, and I still often think back to that episode, actually, what we talked about whenever I like meeting new people.

  • But before we get to today's topic, we do have a slang word to discuss, and this one is kind of fun because it's kind of like an evolution of one of the previous words that we've talked about before.

  • And the previous phrase is let them cook.

  • Today's word is cooked.

  • And so in, like, a sentence, I guess it would be like, wow, right now in the NBA Finals, mavs are so cooked.

  • No.

  • So the meaning of cooked is basically like, you're screwed.

  • You're not in a good place.

  • It's looking pretty doomed for you.

  • That was what confused me, because I had only heard of, like, the word cookie in slang terms, being used as, like, oh, let him cook.

  • Let them cook.

  • Right?

  • So it's, like, usually a good thing.
