Anna Martin: From the New York Times,
this is Modern Love.
I'm Anna Martin, and I have a confession.
Every time I get on a plane
I'm secretly praying that a hot person sits next to me.
It doesn't matter if I'm single or in a relationship.
I still want a hottie next to me.
I want to make flirty conversation
as we float through the clouds.
I want to make jokes about the bad food and the bad wine
and cheers it in little plastic cups.
I want to fall asleep and wake up with my head
just gently resting on their shoulder.
In the 28 years of my life,
this has never happened.
But I haven't stopped hoping.
I still have the fantasy
that I'll meet someone that way someday.
