I'm senior producer Connor Boyle.
Coming up on the podcast, Daniel Goleman, the psychologist and best selling author is here to discuss his new book, how to sustain excellence every day.
Joining him to talk about it is science communicator doctor Gunesh Taylor.
She's a postdoctoral research scientist at the Francis Crick Institute, making biology more accessible to everyone.
Let's join Gunes and Daniel now in conversation.
Our guest today is Daniel Goleman, author of five New York times bestsellers, best known for his paradigm shifting book, Emotional Intelligence.
He has a long standing interest in meditation, dating back to his two years in India as a graduate student at Harvard, and his books have been translated into more than 40 languages.
We're here today to discuss his new book, Optimal how to sustain excellence every day, co authored with Kerry Chernis, a professor of applied psychology at Rutgers University.
And with that and no further ado, I'd love to dive straight in.
Daniel.
